BMI stands for body max index which can be measured by weight in
kilograms divided by height in meters squared. It will determine whether
a person is overweight or obese. There are age-adjusted charts to
ascertain which category a person belongs.
For instance if you are
male, 37 years old, weighing 78 kg and with a height of 1.727 meters,
your BMI is 26.1 kg/m2. WHO-BMI and Center for Disease Control and
Prevention (CDC) office indicates the person belongs to the overweight.
